Letter OneTell The Government To Stop Funding Private SchoolsPublic schools should be the focus of school funding by governments, both state and federal. Private schools are owned and run by private organizations or religions. Parents choosing these schools for their children should not be subsidized by the public purse. Private schools encourage divisions in society along lines of class and religion. Only an education system that brings all kinds of children together can build a cohesive society and teach students how to interact with the wide range of individuals they will encounter in life. We call on the government to stop the funding of private schools and rebuild a strong public education system that we can be proud of. Please send me a written response to this letter.
